Privacy policy

CrewVisto is a jobsite photo and marketing app for contractors, run by Herts Roofing & Construction ("we"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email, username and the company you belong to. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes.
• Job information your company adds: addresses, notes, labels, comments and documents.
• Photos and videos, with the time they were taken, who took them and, when the phone allows, their location.
• Billing details: your plan and payment status. Card numbers go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
• If you import from CompanyCam, the access token you give us, kept encrypted and deleted when you switch over.
• Basic technical logs (such as sign-in attempts and errors) to keep the service secure and working.

How we use it

• To run the app: storing your jobs and photos, syncing the phone app, and showing your team what they're allowed to see.
• To make marketing drafts when your company uses that feature. Photos and the job's town, labels and notes are sent to an AI service to pick photos and write captions. Street addresses and customer names are not sent, and are removed from any draft before you see it.
• To post to the social accounts your company connects, only after someone at your company approves the post.
• To bill your company and to contact you about your account.

We don't sell your information, and we don't use your photos to advertise anyone else's business.

What's public

Nothing is public unless your company chooses it. A published proof page shows the town, the work done and selected photos, never the street address. Photos are copied without their location data before anything is posted or published. Share links you send homeowners are private links that you can turn off.

Who we share it with

We use a few service providers to run CrewVisto, each only for its part of the job:

• Supabase (database, file storage and sign-in) and Vercel (hosting the website).
• Anthropic (the AI that drafts marketing posts and pages).
• Zernio (posting to the social accounts you connect).
• Stripe (payments).
• An email provider, to send sign-in codes.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of people or the service.

Your company's data stays separate

Each company's jobs, photos and settings are kept apart. People can only see the company they belong to, and crew can be limited to the jobs they're assigned.

How long we keep it

We keep your company's data while its account is open. If your company closes its account, we delete its jobs, photos and documents within 90 days, except what we must keep for billing or legal reasons.

Your choices

• Your company's owner or admins can correct or delete jobs, photos and people at any time.
• You can ask us for a copy of your information, or to delete it, by contacting us below.
• You can disconnect social accounts and stop CompanyCam syncing from the app.
